Facebook has begun rolling out updated “Hovercards’ when users mouseover a username or Page name.

The Hovercards have been updated numerous times over the past few years, to include a larger profile picture, mutual friends, and add friend or message functionality.
With the addition of a user’s cover image and employment information, the hovercards now look similar to the top of your timeline, making it easy to identify familiar friends or business pages.
Incidentally, the new hovercards look very much like an actual business card – you can even get physical cards printed (currently free) from Moo.com – a cost-effective alternative to basic business cards for start-up companies.
